Samuel Alves Barreto, known as Capitão Samuel, is a Brazilian politician who served as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Sergipe. A member of the Progressives (PP) party, his legislative work focused on public security, social assistance, and combating chemical dependency. He has been a vocal advocate for the rights of police and military firefighters, as well as the expansion of therapeutic communities within the public health system. Prior to his federal mandate, he was involved in the management of socio-educational institutions for youth in Sergipe.
