Carmelo Romero

Carmelo Romero Hernández is a Spanish politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Spain, representing the province of Huelva. A law graduate and civil servant for the Regional Government of Andalusia, he began his political career in the People's Party. He served as the mayor of Palos de la Frontera from 1995 until 2024, and previously held office as a deputy in the Congress of Deputies and the Parliament of Andalusia. He is a long-standing figure in Huelva's provincial politics.
