Carmen Andrés Añón is a Spanish politician and member of the Socialists' Party of Catalonia (PSC). Born in Calanda, she moved to Barcelona in 1970 and later earned a law degree from the University of Barcelona. Before entering national politics, she had a long career in public administration and served as a city councilor in Barcelona from 2007 to 2019, focusing on social services, housing, and education in the Nou Barris district. Since 2019, she has served as a deputy in the Congress of Deputies, where she has been involved in health and social policy legislation, including the regulation of euthanasia.
