Carol Mochan

Carol Mochan is a Scottish Labour politician serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the South Scotland region since 2021. Before entering politics, she worked as an NHS dietitian for 17 years and operated a small business providing children's services. A self-identified socialist and feminist, Mochan has held roles as a Shadow Minister for Mental Wellbeing, Women's Health and Sport. She has been active in local community governance and has contested multiple parliamentary and council elections throughout her career.
