Caryn Tyson

Caryn Tyson is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 12th district since 2013. A fifth-generation Kansan, she previously served in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. Before entering public office, Tyson spent over 24 years in the IT industry, including providing support for NASA's space shuttle program. She holds degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering Management. Throughout her legislative career, she has chaired the Assessment and Taxation Committee.
