Catherine Fife

Catherine Fife is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Waterloo in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. First elected in a 2012 by-election, she has been re-elected in subsequent provincial elections. Fife previously served as a school board trustee and worked in education and immigrant settlement services. In 2025, she became the first Canadian to serve as chairperson of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians. She currently acts as the Official Opposition critic for Finance and Treasury Board.
