Catrin Wahlen

Catrin Wahlen is a German politician and member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens party. Born in Winnenden in 1972, she grew up in Finland before moving to Berlin in 1999. Prior to her legislative career, she worked in various roles including as a coordinator and English teacher, and served as a district assembly member in Treptow-Köpenick from 2016 to 2021. She joined the Berlin House of Representatives in 2022 and was re-elected in 2023. Wahlen is also a member of the Europa-Union Berlin, advocating for European integration.
