Elif Eralp is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin since 2021. Born in Munich to parents who fled political persecution in Turkey, she studied law at the University of Hamburg and worked as a legal policy advisor for the Left Party's parliamentary group in the Bundestag. A prominent advocate for anti-racism, anti-discrimination, and affordable housing, she co-founded the 'Links*Kanax' network to support party members with migration backgrounds. In 2025, she was nominated as the lead candidate for the Left Party in the 2026 Berlin state election.
