Cemalettin Kani Torun is a Turkish medical doctor, diplomat, and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Bursa. After a career as a physician and humanitarian leader with Doctors Worldwide, he served as the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia from 2011 to 2014 and as Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister. Initially elected to parliament with the Justice and Development Party in 2015, he later became a founding member of the Future Party and returned to the legislature in 2023. He is also a member of the Turkish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
