Charlene Chen

Charlene Chen Yijun is a Singaporean politician, academic, and social psychologist who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Tampines Group Representation Constituency since 2025. A member of the People's Action Party, she represents the Tampines East division. Before entering politics, Chen held a distinguished academic career as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Nanyang Technological University and previously worked as a police psychologist for the Singapore Police Force. She holds a Ph.D. in marketing from Columbia University and has focused her professional expertise on consumer psychology and industry relations.
