Charley Thomson

Charley Thomson is an American politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for District 58. Born in 1960 in Charles City, Iowa, he pursued a career in law after graduating from the University of Michigan and the University of Iowa College of Law. Before his election to the state legislature in 2022, Thomson worked as an attorney and was a lead developer for the McQuillen Place housing project in his hometown. In the Iowa House, he holds several committee assignments, including serving as the chair of the Government Oversight Committee.
