Chen Shih-kai

Chen Shih-kai is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as the Minister of Transportation and Communications. Born in Hsinchu in 1977, he previously served as a Taichung City Councilor and gained prominence as a spokesperson for William Lai's 2024 presidential campaign. Before his appointment to the cabinet, he held the position of spokesperson for the Executive Yuan. Throughout his career, he has been a consistent figure within the Democratic Progressive Party, having contested multiple legislative elections in Taichung.
