Cheng Ming-chien

Cheng Ming-chien is a Taiwanese lawyer and politician who has served as the Minister of Justice since April 2024. He earned a bachelor's degree in law from National Chung Hsing University and built a distinguished career within the judicial system. Prior to his current cabinet appointment, he held several key positions, including serving as the head of the Ministry of Justice's Agency Against Corruption, deputy head of the department of legal affairs, and chief prosecutor for Tainan, Yunlin, and Taipei. His extensive experience in legal administration and prosecution informs his current role in overseeing Taiwan's justice system.
