Chiu Chui-cheng

Chiu Chui-cheng is a Taiwanese political scientist and government official currently serving as the Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council since 2024. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the political deputy minister and spokesperson for the Mainland Affairs Council from 2016 to 2023. Before entering government, he was a professor in the Department of International and Mainland China Affairs at National Quemoy University. His academic work has focused on cross-strait relations, including his doctoral research on peaceful integration models across the Taiwan Strait.
