Liu Chien-kuo

Liu Chien-kuo is a Taiwanese politician serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan, representing Yunlin County. Born in Douliu, he previously served on the Yunlin County Council before winning a legislative by-election in 2009. Throughout his career, Liu has been a vocal advocate for Taiwan's agricultural sector, particularly opposing free economic pilot zones and the importation of pork containing ractopamine. He is also recognized for his legislative efforts to improve air quality and track pollutant emissions, often collaborating with environmental groups to address industrial pollution.
