Chris Jeter is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 88th district. Born and raised in Hamilton County, Indiana, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School. Before entering politics, Jeter served for seven years in the United States Navy Reserve, including as a legal advisor in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He also worked as a law clerk in the Delaware Attorney General's Office and as an associate at Barnes & Thornburg, later becoming a founding partner of the law firm Massillamany Jeter and Carson. He assumed office in the Indiana House in August 2020.
