Chris Warkentin is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Grande Prairie-Mackenzie since 2015, having previously represented the Peace River riding since his initial election in 2006. A member of the Conservative Party of Canada, he has held various parliamentary roles, including Chair of the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Committee and Official Opposition Deputy House Leader. Before entering federal politics, Warkentin worked as a businessman in the custom home building industry and was active in local constituency associations.
