Christian Hecht is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt since 2021. Born in 1971 in Halberstadt, he studied law and has been practicing as an attorney since 1998. He joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2016 and has held local mandates in the Halberstadt city council and the Harz district council since 2019, serving as the AfD faction leader in both bodies. In the state parliament, he chairs the Committee for Law, Constitution, and Consumer Protection.
