Christopher Komakech

Christopher Komakech is a Ugandan politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Aruu County in Pader District. First elected in the 2021 general election as an independent candidate, he later aligned with the National Resistance Movement. Before entering politics, he worked as a neurotechnologist. His parliamentary tenure has been marked by legal challenges regarding his election, which were ultimately upheld by the Court of Appeal, and ongoing political disputes with his predecessor, Samuel Odonga Otto. He successfully retained his seat in the 2026 general election.
