Sylvia Nayebale is a Ugandan politician, journalist, and businesswoman currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Gomba District Women Constituency. Born in 1990, she holds a Bachelor of Mass Communication from Makerere University. Before entering full-time politics, she worked as a receptionist and a news reporter for the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation. She also served as a personal assistant to the Minister of State for Economic Monitoring. Since her election to the 10th Parliament in 2016, she has been an active member of committees focused on health and HIV/AIDS, and she was re-elected to her seat in 2021.
