Clara Bünger

Clara Bünger is a German politician and jurist serving as a member of the Bundestag for The Left since 2022. Before entering parliament, she worked extensively as a human rights lawyer and activist, focusing on the legal rights of refugees and asylum seekers, particularly on the Greek islands. She co-founded the association Equal Rights Beyond Borders and has conducted strategic litigation in migration law. In the Bundestag, she serves on the Committee on Legal Affairs and the Committee on the Interior and Home Affairs.
