Courtney Sappington

Courtney Sappington is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 5th district. She assumed office on October 13, 2025, following the resignation of Carrie Barth. Sappington holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Truman State University, where she served as President of the College Republicans, and an M.S. in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to her legislative service, she was a member of the Baldwin City Recreation Commission board.
