D. V. Chanaka is a Sri Lankan politician who has served as a member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka since 2015. Born in Galle, he pursued higher education in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Design from Southeast Missouri State University. Before entering politics, he worked as a project manager in the construction industry and served as the chairman of the Pathuma Foundation. In 2020, he was appointed as the State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development.
