佐野大輔

Daisuke Sano is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture. Born in Tsubame, he graduated from Tokai University before working as a municipal employee, including a tenure at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. After transitioning to the private sector and founding his own business, he was elected to the Tsubame City Council in 2022. He assumed the office of Mayor in October 2025 after winning the mayoral election, where he campaigned on a platform of continuing the policies of the previous administration.
