Damas Ndumbaro

Damas Daniel Ndumbaro is a Tanzanian politician, lawyer, and the current Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports. A member of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party, he has served as the Member of Parliament for the Songea Urban constituency since 2015. Prior to his current ministerial role, he held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism and Minister of Constitutional Affairs and Justice. Before entering politics, he worked as an advocate and a law lecturer at the Open University of Tanzania, and also served as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority.
