Damien Kurek

Damien Kurek is a Canadian politician, farmer, and lobbyist who served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Battle River—Crowfoot from 2019 to 2025. A member of the Conservative Party, he previously worked as a political staffer and in the oil and gas sector before his election to the House of Commons. In June 2025, Kurek resigned his seat to allow party leader Pierre Poilievre to contest the riding in a by-election. Following his departure from Parliament, he became a principal at the government relations firm Upstream Strategy Group while continuing his involvement in his family's multi-generational farm.
