Dan Crenshaw is an American politician and former U.S. Navy SEAL officer who has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 2nd congressional district since 2019. A graduate of Tufts University and Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, he served five tours of duty in the military, where he was wounded in action in Afghanistan, losing his right eye.
