Daniel Short

Daniel Short is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 39. First elected to the House in 2006, he previously held leadership roles including House Minority Leader from 2013 to 2023 and minority whip. Before his tenure in the state legislature, Short served as a city council member and as the mayor of Seaford, Delaware. He holds an associate degree from the University of Delaware and has maintained a long-standing career in public service within the state.
