Sophie Phillips

Sophie Phillips is an American politician serving as a member of the Delaware House of Representatives for District 18. First elected in 2022, she is an advocate for environmental justice, climate change legislation, and progressive social causes. Before entering politics, she earned a bachelor's degree in environmental and marine science and a master's degree in energy and environmental policy from the University of Delaware. Phillips also gained public recognition as the winner of the 2021 Miss Delaware beauty pageant, where she utilized her platform to promote environmental awareness and equity.
