Daniele Monroe-Moreno is an American politician serving as a member of the Nevada Assembly since 2016, representing the 1st district. Before entering the legislature, she worked as a corrections officer for the North Las Vegas Police Department and served on the North Las Vegas Steering Committee. In 2023, she was elected chair of the Nevada Democratic Party, becoming the first Black woman to hold the position. A moderate Democrat, she has advocated for policies including minimum wage increases and enhanced funding for mental health and behavioral programs.
