Danielle Simonnet is a French politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the 15th constituency of Paris since 2022. A former member of the Left Party and La France Insoumise, she has a long history of local activism, having served as a Paris Councillor from 2008 to 2022. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for social justice, public services, and housing rights. After being denied re-investiture by La France Insoumise in 2024, she successfully ran as an independent candidate and currently sits with the Ecologist and Social parliamentary group.
