Danilo Burgos is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 197th district. Born in New York City to Dominican immigrant parents, he moved to Philadelphia at age ten and later became a small business owner and co-founder of the Philadelphia Dominican Grocers Association. Before his election in 2018, he worked for Philadelphia city councilors Allan Domb and Maria Quiñones-Sánchez. Upon taking office in 2019, he became the first Dominican-American elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly. During his tenure, he has served on the House Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee and participated in the Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign's Latino Leadership Council.
