Darel Uy

Darel Dexter Tang Uy is a Filipino politician currently serving as the 11th Governor of Zamboanga del Norte, having assumed office on June 30, 2025. Prior to his gubernatorial tenure, he served as the 20th Mayor of Dipolog City from 2016 to 2025. During his time as mayor, he was re-elected for two consecutive terms before successfully running for the provincial governorship. In 2024, he faced graft complaints filed by provincial government employees regarding the donation of government equipment, a case that remains part of his public record.
