Darren Cheeseman

Darren Cheeseman is an Australian politician serving as the Member for South Barwon in the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2018. Born in New Zealand and raised in Ballarat, he previously served as the federal Member for Corangamite from 2007 to 2013. Before his parliamentary career, he worked for the Association for the Blind and the Community and Public Sector Union, and served as a councillor for the City of Ballarat. In 2024, he was removed from the Parliamentary Labor Party caucus following allegations of inappropriate behavior, though he remains a member of the party.
