Darrin Camilleri is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan Senate representing the 4th district since 2023. Born in Dearborn, Michigan, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2017 to 2022, where he held leadership roles including House Democratic Whip. A graduate of Kalamazoo College, Camilleri began his career as a social studies teacher through Teach for America. Throughout his legislative tenure, he has focused on education policy, serving as Chairman of the PreK-12 School Aid Budget committee, and has been an advocate for Downriver communities.
