Dattatray Vithoba Bharne is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Indapur constituency. A member of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction), he has held his legislative seat since 2014. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as the state Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare and has previously held positions as a minister in the Thackeray Ministry and as the Guardian Minister of Solapur District. Before entering politics, he was involved in the agricultural cooperative sector, serving as a director and head of the Chhatrapati Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana and the Pune District Central Cooperative Bank.
