Dave Kelly is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Bassendean since 2013. Before entering parliament, he spent 20 years working for the trade union United Voice, including a decade as state secretary. During his political career, he has held several ministerial portfolios in the McGowan Ministry, including Minister for Water, Fisheries, Forestry, Innovation and ICT, and Science. He is widely recognized as a prominent figure within the Labor Party's left faction.
