Tony Buti is an Australian politician and academic who has served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Armadale since 2010. A member of the Labor Party, he has held several ministerial portfolios in the Western Australian government, including Minister for Education, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, and Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests. Before entering politics, Buti was a secondary school teacher and a law lecturer at Murdoch University. He holds a PhD from Oxford University and has authored numerous books on sports law, guardianship, and the Stolen Generations.
