Dave Murman is an American politician serving as a member of the Nebraska Legislature representing the 38th district. Born in Hastings, Nebraska, and raised on a family farm, he graduated from Sandy Creek High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1976. Prior to his legislative career, he worked as an EMT for Glenvil Fire and Rescue and served as the president of the Nebraska State Dairy Association. He was first elected to the legislature in 2018 and assumed office in January 2019.
