David George Reed is a British Conservative politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Exmouth and Exeter East since 2024. Before entering politics, he served for seven years in the Royal Marines and the Special Forces Support Group, later working in cyberspace development for BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. Reed holds a first-class degree in Business and a Master’s in International Security. In Parliament, he serves as an Opposition Assistant Whip and is a member of the International Development Committee, with a legislative focus on defense, security, and animal welfare, including his sponsorship of the Hunting Trophies (Import Prohibition) Bill.
