Nat Wei, Baron Wei

Nat Wei, Baron Wei is a British social entrepreneur and a Conservative member of the House of Lords. Born in 1977 to parents from Hong Kong, he was the first British-born person of Chinese origin to serve in the House of Lords. A former advisor to the UK government on the 'Big Society' project, he has been a prominent figure in social reform, co-founding Teach First and the Shaftesbury Partnership. He currently serves on the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee and remains active as an advisor in the technology and venture capital sectors, focusing on impact-oriented investment and policy development.
