David Standridge

David Standridge is an American politician serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 34th district since his election in 2012. A resident of Hayden, Alabama, he previously served as a probate judge in Blount County. During his tenure in the state legislature, he has held leadership roles, including Chairman of the House Rural Caucus. Standridge is known for his conservative legislative efforts, such as sponsoring the 2018 legislation that authorized public bodies to display the national motto, "In God We Trust."
