A member of the National Resistance Movement, she has held various ministerial positions, including State Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, and currently serves as the State Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations. Before entering politics, she worked as a hospital administrator and a project officer for international organizations.
