Miriam Mukhaye

Miriam Mukhaye is a Ugandan politician serving as the independent Woman Member of Parliament for Mbale District for the 2021–2026 term. In addition to her legislative duties, she is the CEO of the Miriam Mukhaye Foundation, an initiative dedicated to supporting grassroots farmers through personal funding. Within the Parliament of Uganda, she contributes to several committees, including the Equal Opportunities Committee and the Gender, Labor and Social Development Committee. She holds a bachelor's degree in public administration from the Islamic University in Uganda and a post-graduate diploma in human resource management from the Uganda Management Institute.
