Linda Agnes Auma

Linda Agnes Auma is a Ugandan politician and legislator currently serving as the Woman Member of Parliament for Lira District in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. Elected as an independent candidate, she holds leadership roles including Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, and Publicity Secretary for the Uganda Women Parliamentary Association. Previously, she served as the Resident District Commissioner of Amuru District. Auma's career is marked by her advocacy for youth and women's issues, having risen from a challenging childhood to complete her education and enter public service.
