Deborah Mattinson

Deborah Mattinson is a British political consultant, businesswoman, and life peer who serves as a member of the House of Lords. A long-time strategist for the Labour Party, she played a pivotal role in the party's electoral success under Keir Starmer, having previously advised figures such as Neil Kinnock, Tony Blair, and Gordon Brown. Beyond her political career, she is a successful entrepreneur who co-founded the consultancy firm BritainThinks and has held leadership roles in various charitable organizations. She was created Baroness Mattinson in 2025 and currently serves as the President of the Market Research Society and an Honorary Professor at King's College London.
