Denise Phua Lay Peng is a Singaporean politician who has served as the Mayor of the Central Singapore District since 2014 and as a Member of Parliament for the Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency since 2015. Before entering politics, she had a successful corporate career in management at Hewlett-Packard and the Wuthelam Group. A dedicated advocate for the special needs community, she co-founded Pathlight School and the Autism Resource Centre.
