Derya Yanık

Derya Yanık is a Turkish politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Osmaniye. She previously served as the Minister of Family and Social Services from 2021 to 2023. A graduate of Istanbul University's Faculty of Law, she made history as the first woman to preside over the Municipal Council of Istanbul between 2004 and 2014. She is a member of the Justice and Development Party's Central Decision and Executive Board.
