Devendra Kumar Joshi is an Indian politician and retired Admiral who has served as the 14th Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands since 2017. Previously, he had a distinguished career in the Indian Navy, serving as the 21st Chief of Naval Staff from 2012 until his resignation in 2014. As Lieutenant Governor, he has focused on the holistic development of the island territories, including infrastructure projects like the Great Nicobar Island development and the expansion of Veer Savarkar International Airport.
