Diego Coronel is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing the state of Bahia since 2023. Prior to his federal mandate, he served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Bahia from 2019 to 2023 and as the mayor of Coração de Maria between 2009 and 2012. He is the son of politicians Angelo and Eleusa Coronel and is affiliated with the Republicans party.
